New Orleans!

Alright so my trip. It was amazing! So Sunday it was a 12 hour ride and we finally got there and stayed at the Baptist Seminary. The dorms were really really ghetto! The really fun part was doing clubs with the kids! They were so sweet and made me feel like part of their family. One of the kid accepted Christ and it was amazing to see how curious he was about everything in the Bible! Two other kids wanted to know about how to get closer to God! We also went to a women's shelter and worshiped with them. It was so powerful to see how at their lowest point they can still praise God and trust in Him. We also did homeless ministry and it was great to help and pray for those people. It was an amazing trip!

Hey! well if Shian wins the worst blogger award.....I'm a pretty close second. I have had a CRAZY past couple of days and hardly have time to write this! I promise that I will get on it tomorrow and tell you all about my week in New Orleans! and everything else on the blog like Trendy Tuesday and Pinterest Poutporri will go back to normal (YAY). People say it's a beautiful crazy life...but honestly I felt the beautiful last week and the crazy this week. So i will tell y'all about the beautiful tomorrow!

Catch-Up

yeah, i know, i deserve the World's Worst Blogger Award. i do feel bad for not ever blogging so i hope that makes you feel better ;) but I'm back today for a quick post.

Hailey came back from her mission trip yesterday. I cant wait to hear about her experiences, hopefully she will do a post on it :)

I am leaving to New Hampshire tomorrow! I'm flying by myself for the first time, so I'm super excited and a little nervous :) Both of my parents were born and raised there so i have a lot of family and friends there. Cant wait to see them all, especially my best friend, Chastity :)

My church, The Apostolic Lutheran Church, is having it's annual conventions in New Hampshire this year. The Apostolic Lutheran churches from across America come together and its a great time of fellowship and worship.

My moms family is also having a family reunion. I'm also looking forward to that because my family is AMAZING.

Please keep me in your prayers tomorrow as i travel and please pray that God will bless our church conventions. Thank you so much!

Special Sunday Post

We don't usually blog on Sundays. But I guess today is just special. Hailey left today for a week to go to New Orleans on a mission trip.

Hailey, along with other people from our church will be having a Vacation Bible School for some of the children in New Orleans. They will also be doing street evangelism which will take you so much out of your comfort zone.

It would be so awesome if yall could say a special prayer for her this morning as they are traveling.
